Welcome to Messy Church

We are excited to invite you to Messy Church on the second Sunday of the month (except August) from 4pm to 6pm in Christ Church.

Messy Church is a fresh expression of church centred around a monthly bible theme explored through all age activities, a short talk, sometimes video, prayer and then we share a two course meal together.

Whilst you will get the most messy time by joining us at 4pm don't worry if life is busy you are welcome to join us at any time. There will be lots of messy activities for an hour and then we will spend a short time learning a little bit more about Jesus through a short talk and or video. We then finish by enjoying a two course meal together so you don't have to cook for your family afterwards.

We finish around 6pm so no worries about children going to bed late.

Oh and did we tell you its all free.

Hoping to see you there

Safeguarding

The welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults is an absolute priority for us.  Safeguarding shows God's love in action and in churches demonstrates safety and security, where abuse and mistreatment of others is not tolerated.

The Cockermouth Area Team is signed up to and abides by the Church of England Policy on Safeguarding and  Carlisle Diocese Safeguarding Policy

Each of our churches has a Safeguarding Officer. For more information and who to contact if you are concerned that someone you know about may be suffering harm please visit our Safeguarding page.
